Is it just me or is there A LOT of teaching the simple present tense? Introduced in Level 1 and practiced all the way up to Level 6, it feels like every lesson has at least ONE slide with he/she/it ____S and I/you/we/they ____. Someone on facebook showed her hand-written prompt and I was inspired! I haven’t used a lot of props for teaching grammar – I rely heavily on my whiteboard – but I thought I’d give it a try. Since I printed it, not a day has gone by without it being used! How did I manage without it?

I’ve laminated mine and sometimes write the verb in with a whiteboard marker, but just as often I leave it blank and only hold it up as a reminder for students. If you don’t have a laminator, a plastic sleeve works just as well!

As always, my printable are FREE for personal use or in the classroom! Enjoy!

Enjoy these simple props! Tell me in the comments, what grammar props do YOU find get the most use?g
